Apple (AAPL) reportedly set to introduce new iPod Photo models Wednesday

Buzz on the Apple rumor sites (starting from MacShrine) suggests that Apple will introduce 30GB and 60GB bluetooth-enabled models to their iPod Photo line. Rumored price points for the devices are $349 (for the 30GB model) and $449 (for the 60GB model). MacRumors reports this as a Page 2 rumor, giving it less weight. Apple has requested that dealers return their current iPod Photo models, however, which suggests that an update is due soon.

If these rumors prove to be true, I think it will strengthen the iPod line. Rumors suggest that all iPods will soon be updated with color screens, which (in my opinion) would bode very well for the company and the stock. More news tomorrow, if it happens.
