Apple (AAPL) introduces new iPod mini and iPod Photo models

As expected, Apple introduced new 6GB iPod mini and 30GB iPod Photo models today. Apple will continue to offer 4GB iPod mini models at $199, while offering the 6GB models at $249. Apple's 30GB iPod Photo will be $349, with the existing 60GB iPod Photo lowered to $449. Apple has apparently gotten rid of their 40GB iPod and 40GB iPod Photo models. The iPod minis will be available in 4 colors: silver, green, blue, and pink. Gold was apparently discontinued.

The new models do not have bluetooth, and the iPod minis did not add color screens as some rumors suggested.
