Cramer goes "Mad" this Monday
It's more or less official...
According to my updated program guide (thanks to my All-in-Wonder 9800), Jim Cramer's new show "Mad Money" will premiere this Monday, March 14th on CNBC in the 6PM timeslot. I caught the tail end of Bullseye (the show it is replacing), and they were celebrating/mourning the final few episodes by having what appeared to be champagne (or perhaps white wine) on the set, with the host mentioning that it was their second to last broadcast. They also played the cheesy 80's power ballad "Final Countdown" (by Europe), with tongue apparently planted firmly in cheek.
While I would very much like to watch the Mad Money premiere, I will be in New York on spring break from Monday through Wednesday, so my take on the show may come as late as Thursday. With any luck, I'll have a recording of the first broadcast nonetheless (again, thanks to my All-In-Wonder 9800). Even on spring break, I'll do my best to catch the show (or a snippet of it) and report back as soon as is possible given the conditions.
EDIT: CNBC finally has a Mad Money page up.
